Manifesting Your Dreams

Manifesting Your Dreams - Two Little Questions You Must Ask Yourself

Manifesting and attracting your desires requires some basic steps which must be followed to bring your dreams into reality. When you follow this simple step by step guide you have within you the power to manifest more easily.

To create a new vision of reality, you have to ask yourself two questions: "Where am I heading?" and "How am I going to get there?" These two questions keep you focused on what you want to manifest and how you are going to manifest.

Your vision, your dreams, your goals are important to you, give yourself time to nurture these to promote happiness and well-being in your life.Take time out for yourself today to plan where you want to be tomorrow. Move in the direction of your goals by completing one step at a time. Manifesting is more than positive thinking and "wishing". It is about focusing on your desires, visualizing it and actively moving towards your goal.

BE PROACTIVE

Create a new vision for your future based on success, happiness and well-being.

To manifest your desires requires you to clearly articulate what it is you want to achieve. There are three main steps.

Step 1: Articulate what you want and put it in writing to help ingrain it into your belief system.
Step 2: Then, create a set of ordered action steps to achieve each goal.
Step 3: Now, start implementing the first action step as this will move you in the direction of your goal.

Manifesting = Goal Setting And Goal Setting Requires S.M.A.R.T. Goals

S SPECIFIC
M MEASURABLE
A ACHIEVABLE
R REALISTIC
T TIME FRAMED

Specific:

Specific goals are clear and to the point. They provide enough detail and clarity so that everyone knows exactly what you plan to achieve. If your goal involves other people, having this clarity helps everyone move in the direction of the goal. Your specific goal needs to be written down to help ingrain it into your belief system.

Measurable:

Means that you have clearly set out steps to complete, and you can measure your progress by completing each step that leads to your goal. You will put a system in place to evaluate your progress. It may be as simple as ticking off each step along the way.

Achievable:

Means that your goal is something that you know you can achieve. Your goals should be set by you rather than by someone else. If you have any goals set by someone else, you must look at whether that goal is achievable for you, before you decide to take it on.

Realistic / Honest:

Only plan goals that you know you will follow through. Realistic means that your goal is something that you know you will achieve and it's possible to reach. Honest means that you need to acknowledge whether you really want to achieve this goal. If the goal was set by someone else, do you really want to achieve it?

Time Framed:

Goals must have a starting point, end point and a fixed duration. Commitment to deadlines helps you to focus your effort on completion of the goal on or before the due date.

A WORD OF WARNING

Working towards your goal requires acknowledging what could pull you 'off track'. Listed below are some examples of what can cause any of us to go 'off track'.

FEAR OF SUCCESS

Hard to imagine, but some people have a fear of success e.g. "too much work could be generated; how can I cope with it?; more will be expected of me"; "What happens if....."

FEAR OF FAILURE

If you have an expectation that you won't achieve what you plan to do or if you have had failures in the past and judged yourself in a negative way, this may cause you to go 'off track'.

If this goal is your dream or passion, do not give up, you will find a way to achieve it.

I've always found the words of Confucius encouraging:

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall." ~ Confucius

KNOW YOUR SABOTEURS

Be aware of your saboteurs and watch your self-talk. If you find yourself being negative, change your thinking straight away. Positive self-talk will help you to reach your goal and stay focused. If you find yourself doubting anything, keep saying "I deserve this".

STAY FOCUSED ON WHERE YOU ARE GOING AND HOW YOU ARE GOING TO GET THERE AND NEVER GIVE UP.

To effectively manifest your vision, I invite you to work on your first goal. Ask yourself those two questions: "Where am I heading?" and "How am I going to get there?"

Now that you know where you are heading, write your goal down. Start with the words: My goal is to:

Then write down all of the steps that you know that you must take to achieve this goal.

Start by writing:

To achieve this goal I am prepared to:

(The number of steps relates directly to your goal, be sure to put them in time order )

Think about the benefits of achieving this goal? What will the completion of this goal bring into your life?

Be aware of what you pull you off track and how you will get yourself back on track. For example, If you think: "I doubt myself too much and don't know if I can believe that this dream will come true" then reaffirm "I deserve this"

Your goal will be achieved if you keep moving in the direction of its completion by actioning each step along the way.
