How Positive Thinking and Negative Thinking shape our lives

Positive thinking is a way to enhance your self-esteem and confidence. It can move you in the direction of greater happiness, health and vitality and can improve the way you feel physically.

On the other hand, negative thinking can adversely affect your self-esteem, mental health and wellness. You have the power within you to change the way you think and you do this by becoming aware of your thinking patterns. You can make a difference to your life by changing your thoughts. By changing your thoughts from negative to positive ones, you will feel more motivated to pursue your goals and dreams.

How to know if you have negative beliefs / thoughts

If you have negative thoughts you will notice it in the way you feel. People who have negative beliefs often experience long periods of: unhappiness, depression, sadness, anger, or frustration. Physically they experience tight, sore muscles, headaches, or recurring illness.

The connection between our thoughts and how we feel is becoming better known. How to discover the underlying thoughts that can lead to unhappiness and illness is not so well known. In From Crappy To Happy there are many techniques for recognizing negative thoughts and how to change them to positive thoughts. More importantly though, are the techniques for discovering the subconscious beliefs taken on years before that become patterns that you live by. These beliefs are the ones that can lead to long term unhappiness or illness and are the ones that most people don’t know how to find.

Hypnotherapy is one technique for discovering earlier hidden beliefs, and is the technique I used with clients to help them discover their negative subconscious thought patterns.

Over a period of time I developed specific techniques that clients could use themselves, to discover their own subconscious beliefs and learn how to release them and heal.

These techniques have been used to release resentment, un-forgiveness, painful early life experiences and even, physical pain.

We have an enormous capacity for healing at very deep levels and when we have the techniques to heal effortlessly and spontaneously, health and vitality increase dramatically.

Your beliefs and negative thoughts are stored in your memory. Take time today to listen to the thoughts you think and evaluate whether they are more positive or negative. If you find that they are more negative then its time to spring-clean them. Throw out the old thoughts and welcome the new positive thoughts.
